Mẹ thân mến.

Cách đây 10 năm, khi con lần đầu về ra mắt bố mẹ, mẹ đã mở rộng cánh tay và chào đón con với một nụ cười thật tươi. Mẹ đã nói chuyện với con thật thân thiện khiến con xua tan hết mọi lo lắng.

Trong suốt bao năm làm con dâu nhà mình, mẹ luôn đối xử với con rất tốt, khiến con cảm thấy mình chắc hẳn là người con dâu hạnh phúc nhất thế gian. Thế nhưng từ khi con sinh cháu, mọi chuyện đều thay đổi hoàn toàn.

Ngay những ngày đầu tiên con làm mẹ còn bỡ ngỡ, mẹ đã chuyển từ quê lên sống cùng chúng con, giúp đỡ con những ngày đầu lóng ngóng chưa quen với vị trí mới của mình.

Mẹ giúp con nấu ăn, dọn dẹp, bế cháu… Con rất cảm ơn vì điều ấy. Nhưng tới mấy tháng trôi qua rồi mà mẹ vẫn chưa có ý định trở về, kéo dài tới tận hôm nay.

Chuyến thăm của mẹ đã biến căn nhà trở thành địa ngục đối với con, khiến con phải đếm từng giây từng phút mong mẹ mau rời khỏi.

Mẹ đã “cướp” đi quyền làm cha mẹ của chúng con, chiếm cứ phòng bếp, đóng đô tại phòng khách và giành quyền làm chủ căn nhà này.

Mẹ mắng con vì gọi chồng dậy sớm mỗi sáng để giúp trông lũ trẻ. Mẹ can thiệp vào việc chi tiêu của vợ chồng con từ những điều nhỏ nhặt nhất. Và nhất là, mẹ gạt phăng những dự định nuôi con CỦA CON và khăng khăng chăm cháu theo cách truyền thống.

Con vẫn luôn muốn mẹ con mình duy trì tình cảm như ngày xưa, khi con mới về ra mắt mẹ. Và con nhận ra lỗi là tại mình, chính con đã không vạch rõ giới hạn. Chính con để mẹ xen vào giữa cuộc sống này, rồi lại tỏ ra khó chịu và ghét bỏ.

Con rất yêu quý và biết ơn mẹ, con biết mẹ đã nuôi dạy ra những người con thật hoàn hảo, bao gồm cả chồng của con. Nhưng làm ơn, hãy để con được nuôi dạy những đứa trẻ của chính mình.

Mẹ đừng nói về việc lũ trẻ nên hay không nên ăn cái gì. Mẹ đừng cười khi nghe chuyện con của con vẫn còn ngồi ghế trẻ em trên xe dù đã “lớn”. Mẹ đừng chắc lại chuyện những người con của mẹ đã có thể tự chơi một mình ngoài sân khi chưa được 3 tuổi.

Những chuyện đó có thể đúng ở thời của mẹ, nhưng tới ngày nay, mọi thứ đều đã thay đổi rồi.

Tất cả những kế hoạch của vợ chồng con đều đã tham khảo từ các chuyên gia, đã được kiểm chứng và hoàn toàn phù hợp với lũ trẻ. Những “góp ý và lời khuyên” của mẹ khiến con cảm thấy như đang bị phán xét vậy.

Có một sự thật con không biết mẹ có nhận ra không, nhưng con buộc phải nói, đó là sự nghiệp làm cha mẹ của mẹ đã thành công rồi. Con trai mẹ giờ đã là một người đàn ông ưu tú, không còn là đứa trẻ trong vòng tay mẹ nữa.

Anh ấy không còn cần được nuôi dạy, thay vào đó là trở thành một phụ huynh. Còn những đứa con của anh ấy, chúng cũng có mẹ, và người đó là con.

Vậy nên, con hy vọng mẹ hãy để con được tự đưa ra những quyết định trong việc nuôi dạy con cái. Con biết là sẽ có những khó khăn và đôi khi con cần nhờ tới sự trợ giúp của mẹ. Nhưng mong mẹ đừng can thiệp quá nhiều và phán xét mọi chuyện.

Trên tất cả, con vẫn rất yêu quý mẹ và luôn chào đón mẹ tới chơi cùng chúng con và các cháu.
