Việc sử dụng axit làm bóng, tróc da để lại lớp da non màu hồng nhạt khiến nhiều người nghĩ rằng các vết nám, tàn nhang đã biến mất. Tuy nhiên thực tế thì khác, nám và tàn nhang sẽ sớm quay trở lại, thậm chí còn nhiều hơn cả ban đầu. Cùng với đó, khi đội ngũ thực hiện ca thẩm mỹ không có đủ kiến thức và tay nghề, các chị em sẽ rất dễ dàng rơi vào trường hợp bị bỏng hay tổn thương da nghiêm trọng.
