Hơn 3 năm ở nhà mẹ chồng, sống chung với ông bà nhà chồng, bố mẹ chồng, cuộc sống của tôi thực sự chưa một ngày cảm thấy muốn rời bỏ căn nhà này. Có những lúc, quan điểm giữa bố mẹ, ông bà và cả vợ chồng tôi không hợp nhau nhưng đối với tôi, đó là chuyện quá đỗi bình thường. Ngay cả những gia đình mà gia đình, bố mẹ, con cái ruột thịt sống với nhau còn có những lúc này, lúc kia, bất đồng quan điểm, nói gì những người chưa thực sự hiểu nhau. Chỉ quan trọng là cách nghĩ, thái độ của mình thế nào mà thôi.

Mỗi lần đi chơi với bạn bè, họ đều nói xấu mẹ chồng, bố chồng và tất cả những người ở nhà chồng. Bạn tôi, mấy cô lấy chồng được vài năm hay vài tháng đều có những chuyện đáng nói. Người thì chê mẹ chồng suốt ngày soi mói con dâu, cái gì cũng để ý để bắt bẻ. Người thì chê mẹ chồng ở bẩn. Người thì phê bình mẹ chồng không biết nấu ăn, rồi bố chồng chẳng chịu làm gì, chỉ ở nhà vắt chân lên ghế rồi sai khiến con dâu…

Cuộc sống thì không ai giống ai, mỗi cây mỗi hoa mỗi nhà mỗi cảnh. Những cuộc vui đó, tôi thường không nói gì, chỉ ngồi để nghe. Họ cho rằng, tôi là người kín kẽ hoặc tự tô vẽ cuộc sống của mình. Rằng, tôi không muốn kể chuyện nhà chồng, thích khoe khoang nhà chồng. Tôi cười…

Sự thật là gia đình chồng tôi rất tốt, mẹ chồng đối xử với tôi như con cái trong nhà, không phân biệt dâu con. Mẹ thực sự không soi mói, có gì không hay không phải mẹ nhắc luôn để con sửa chữa. Mẹ cũng không có tính đi nói xấu con dâu với ai đó. Vì gia đình chồng sống khá tình cảm, yêu thương, quan tâm nhau và không bao giờ có chuyện đi chê bai người trong nhà.

Có những xích mích nhỏ hoặc những chuyện không hài lòng nhưng tôi luôn cho đó là chuyện xảy ra ở bất cứ gia đình nào. Vậy thì sao phải mang ba chuyện lặt vặt ra để phê bình,  nói xấu nhau?

Có phải chúng ta bị ám ảnh chuyện mẹ chồng nàng dâu nên không còn dám tin, trên đời lại có người mẹ chồng tốt như mẹ đẻ? Tôi luôn tự hào vì mình đã có thể lấy được người chồng biết sống, có người mẹ chồng tốt, thương yêu con cái và có gia đình chồng không gây khó khăn gì cho chúng tôi. Tôi thực sự cảm thấy mình may mắn vì điều đó.

Dẫu rằng cuộc sống là chuỗi những ngày tháng biến động, không ai nói trước được điều gì, nhưng cho đến hiện tại, tôi tạm hài lòng vì điều đó. Có tốt nói tốt, tôi không muốn chuyện bé xé ra to. Hơn nữa, vạch áo cho người xem lưng nào có nghĩa lý gì?
